Office of International Programs and Resources
In 2006, Michigan State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) established the Office of International Programs and Resources to create an administrative infrastructure that would ensure sustainable international programs and foster a general culture of internationalism in the college.
Proper training, support, and opportunities must be made readily available to those confronting today’s global health challenges. The Office of International Programs and Resources provides these resources to students, graduates, faculty, and visitors to the CVM, facilitating international scholarship and the application of knowledge and skills in many locations spanning the globe.
The Office of International Programs and Resources occupies a critical organizational role at the CVM, seeking to:
- Create college- and university-based international partnerships
- Offer international programs and experiences to undergraduates, graduate professional students, and faculty at the CVM
- Provide services and resources that facilitate international travel and outreach activities
- Offer supportive services to international visitors of the CVM
- Collaborate with the Office of International Studies and Programs at MSU and facilitate the development of new study abroad programs
- Maintain informational resources – including databases – that track the CVM’s international activity as well as international opportunities and contacts
