Emergency Short Term Loans
The College of Veterinary Medicine has funds available to students duly enrolled in the professional program. Loans are limited to $2,500 and will be granted for appropriate semester expenses when using verifiable means of repayment: eligible Stafford Student Loans, other student loans, scholarships or verifiable aid. Loans will be due no more than sixty (60) days from date of issue. Students who repay a loan late may limit or lose eligibility for future loans. If a loan is granted to a person with a late payment record, a cosigner may be required. A student who repays a loan ninety (90) or more days late, automatically loses eligibility for a year from the time the loan is repaid. A $15 late charge will be assessed on loans not paid in full by the due date. Late fees are charged every month on past due balances. Authorization may take up to five (5) working days.
