Mothers Room Info
The MSU College of Veterinary created a Mother’s Room, located in A –219 Veterinary Teaching Hospital (VTH) across from the Clinical Pathology Laboratory. Former students envisioned the development of this room, inspired by the needs of their classmates and other women in the college. The goal of this room is to have a quiet place where new mothers (students, faculty, and staff) could relax in a private setting to pump breast milk for later use at home. With funds provided by the CVM Class of 2002, the Veterinary Technology Program and the MSU Chapter of the Association for Women Veterinarians, Room A 219 was renovated in the spring of 2003.
