Information for Prospective Students

The final round of supplemental applications, as well as letters of denial and dismissal (first round only), went out on Monday, January 11.  If you have not yet received either, please allow one week for delivery.  Those applicants who have received a supplemental application can anticipate a letter of offer or notification of alternate status between mid-February and mid-March.

Message from the Dean:

"In common with all colleges of veterinary medicine in the country, MSU is facing budgetary challenges. Potential applicants may be concerned that the educational programs at many veterinary colleges will be negatively impacted by these economic challenges. Be assured that MSU will maintain the quality of its DVM program, and the program remains the number one priority for the College, as it is at all colleges of veterinary medicine. We have been educating veterinarians for 100 years, and we are looking forward to the next 100 years of educational excellence."

-Dr. Christopher Brown, MSU CVM Dean
