Code of Teaching Responsibility
This policy was approved by the Academic Council on November 4, 1969 and the Academic Senate on November 19, 1969; it was subsequently revised by Academic Council on May 19, 1976, February 27, 1996, and April 19, 2005 (effective Fall semester 2005).
Student Absence during the Clinical Phase of the CVM Curriculum
As a general rule, students that miss several days during a clinical phase clerkship either receive an ET-grade or must be dropped from the clerkship.
Academic Dismissal and Probation
A student whose academic performance during the clinical phase is unacceptable faces probation or dismissal.
