Seeking Abstracts The 30th Annual Equity within the Classroom Conference Committee members are seeking abstract for the March 22-24, 2020 conference. The conference will be held at the James B. Henry Center at Michigan State University, hosted by the MSU College of Veterinary Medicine. The theme of this conference is Access, Affordability, and College Completion.

We are seeking abstracts that address one, two, or all three topics related to Access, Affordability, and College Completion (AACC). You may submit a proposal for a poster, standard presentation, panel discussion, or lightning sessions. Abstract submissions are due by Nov. 15, 2019.

Equity Within the Classroom Conference is hosted annually as a collaborative effort between Michigan's King-Chavez-Parks Initiative and the state's public and independent colleges and universities. The Equity Conference provides an annual forum for faculty, administration, staff, and postsecondary education supporters to review current research findings; annual retention outcome data; best practice strategies; and, specific KCP developed retention strategies positively impacting equality of opportunity and degree achievement of KCP targeted students.
