Daniel Aja (DVM ’82)

After 43 years dedicated to helping animals and advancing the veterinary profession, Aja has retired from AmeriVet, where he most recently served as the chief medical officer.

Norman Bayne (DVM ’81)

Bayne is now the owner of The Veterinary Concierge, a small animal practice in Alexandria, VA.

Amy Cousino (DVM ‘79)

Cousino had two books published, How to Cook for Your Pet and 300 Dog Food Recipes: Three-Ingredient Meals.

Claude Curry (DVM ’71)

After 45 years practicing small animal veterinary medicine, Curry has retired and sold his four veterinary hospitals to VetCor.

Stuart Meyers (DVM ’85)

Meyers has retired after 25 years as a professor of anatomy, physiology, and cell biology at the University of California, Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. Meyers is a board-certified member of the American College of Theriogenologists with more than 160 peer-reviewed publications in animal fertility. He was recently awarded the Bartlett Lifetime Achievement Award from the American College of Theriogenologists and the Society for Theriogenology, as well as several distinguished teaching awards from the University of California.

Katie Rottenberg (DVM ’22)

Rottenberg recently accepted a position at the University of California, Davis as a dairy assistant and animal facility floater.

Colleen Turner (DVM ’01)

Turner has achieved diplomate status with the American Veterinary Dental College.

Katherine Venet (DVM ’11)

Venet has achieved diplomate status with the American Veterinary Dental College.

Allan Wise (DVM ’67)

Still practicing equine medicine in New Jersey, Wise just celebrated his 83rd birthday.
