Dear College of Veterinary Medicine Alumni,

From the moment I arrived at the College of Veterinary Medicine, it became clear that this is a place where values like integrity, compassion, and innovation aren’t just words—they’re ideals and actions that are embedded into the spirit of the faculty, staff, students, and alumni. It’s inspiring to see that those connected to this College live, lead, and learn with these principles at the heart of their work.

To share a bit about my background, I hold a BA in media and communications from Muhlenberg College in Pennsylvania and have spent more than a decade serving in communications and advancement roles within education. Most recently, I served as the associate director of alumni engagement at Montclair State University in New Jersey, where I helped support a community of over 145,000 alumni. Through strategic event planning and personal outreach, I worked to build meaningful relationships, increase engagement, and strengthen affinity for the institution.

My experiences have provided me with valuable insight, and I am excited to bring fresh perspective to the College as we work together to strengthen and grow our alumni relations efforts. I am looking forward to building deeper engagement across our diverse alumni populations, including those from the DVM, Vet Nursing, Online Food Safety, and PhD programs, as well as our non-traditional residents and intern alumni. My goal is to listen, learn, and collaborate with you, to ensure that our alumni program reflects your experiences and the many different journeys you’ve taken after graduation. Your voices and stories matter deeply, and I am committed to ensuring they are at the heart of our work moving forward.

I encourage you to reach out, share your stories, and let me know how we can work together to strengthen our alumni community. Whether it’s through mentorship, participation in events, or simply dropping me a note to introduce yourself, your involvement is invaluable. Together, we can continue to build on the strong foundation of this College and create opportunities for future generations.
