The MSU VDL continues to see delays in receiving packages from the United States Postal Service (USPS). These delays often compromise the quality of the specimen(s) shipped and impact our ability to perform the requested service. This is especially true for some endocrinology samples where prolonged exposure to warmer temperatures during shipping can have an adverse effect on the tests being requested. If your submission quality is impacted by delays in shipping using USPS, we will contact you. Be assured that we will properly hold all materials submitted for 14 days while waiting for a response. If we have not heard from you within 14 days of our initial contact, your order will be canceled, and samples will be discarded.
