Digital Accessibility
Michigan State University is committed to providing equitable access to university programs, services and information while enhancing inclusion for the broadest possible audience.
The MSU Digital Accessibility Policy reflects MSU’s aspiration and intent to live the university’s core values of collaboration, equity, excellence, integrity and respect, and the university’s commitment to eliminate barriers to access, challenge discrimination and bias, and address past and present inequalities.
The Digital Accessibility Policy defines the accessibility requirements for university websites and web-delivered content. The Technical Guidelines define the required version of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
Content that Michigan State University has created that is not fully accessible to individuals with disabilities can be reported to the Digital Accessibility Team through the inaccessible digital content report form.
Reports can be made anonymously or with an email and/or MSU NetID attached. Reports that include contact information may be easier for the Digital Accessibility Team to follow up on.
University policy prohibits discrimination against qualified individuals with disabilities. Reports of disability discrimination may be filed online via the Public Incident Reporting Portal, or by calling the Office of Institutional Equity at 517-353-3922 between the hours of 8 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
