The MSU VDL is closed only on limited holidays when U.S. Mail and commercial delivery services (UPS, FedEx, DHL) are unavailable. Please keep this in mind when shipping specimens to avoid possible delays and contact us for advice on shipping time- or temperature-sensitive samples around holidays.
*The Clinical Pathology laboratory, located in the Veterinary Medical Center (VMC), will be open from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. to support the VMC's Emergency and Critical Care service.

During limited hours on University holidays (11/27, 12/24, 12/28, 12/29, 12/30, 12/31), building access and Client Service telephone lines will be available and our Receiving/Order Entry staff will be working to ensure your incoming specimens are handled promptly and efficiently. Technical staff will be working to ensure minimal impact to test schedules and turnaround time.
