April 29, 2019 - Certain feed testing in the MSU VDL catalog has historically been referred to Dairy One. Effective May 15, 2019, the MSU VDL will no longer order and refer testing to Dairy One. Clients should send samples to, and request testing from, Dairy One directly.
As a courtesy to our clients, the MSU VDL will forward samples received on or after May 15, 2019 at no additional charge until June 1. Effective June 1, 2019, any samples received by the MSU VDL that clients request be forwarded to Dairy One will incur shipping/handling charges.
Tests previously listed in the MSU VDL catalog that will be impacted by this change include:
- Acid Detergent Fiber
- Animal By-Product Analysis by Wet Chemistry
- Crude Fat
- Crude Protein
- Equine Feed Analysis by Wet Chemistry
- Feed Analysis, Equine Hay
- Neutral Detergent Fiber
- Standard Feed Analysis by NIR
- Standard Feed Analysis by Wet Chemistry
As part of this transition, these tests are no longer visible in our catalog effective immediately.
