Regulatory and Diagnostic Updates for Infectious Equine Diseases: EIA, EHV, EIV

Equine infectious anemia, equine herpesvirus, and equine influenza virus are threats to individual animals and can be easily transmitted when animals are housed together. In this presentation, we will review reportable disease reporting, diagnostic options and how to collect the correct diagnostic sample. Current USDA requirements for submitting EIA testing samples will also be reviewed.
