Assistant Professor of Medical Oncology
Dr. Alison Masyr earned her Bachelor of Arts (’11) in biology from Oberlin College and her DVM (’17) from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. She then completed two internships—the first in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine, and the second in Medical Oncology and Clinical Trials at the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. Most recently, Dr. Masyr completed a Master of Science and a Medical Oncology residency at the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. She is board-certified by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in the specialty of Oncology.
Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology
Dr. Melanie Linn, BVM&S, MRCVS, DACVR-RO, is an assistant professor of Radiation Oncology, Department of Small Animal Clinical Sciences. Dr. Linn earned her Bachelor of Science degree in business administration at Mary Washington University, Fredericksburg, VA. She then went on to earn her BVM&S from the University of Edinburgh, United Kingdom. She completed a rotating internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery from the Regional Veterinary Referral Center, Springfield, VA., and a residency in Radiation Oncology at the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine, Columbia, MO. She is a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Radiology (Radiation Oncology).
