Pathobiology & Diagnostic Investigation
Comparative biomedical knowledge is being advanced through interdisciplinary clinical research and innovative diagnostic and treatment methods to benefit animals and humans and train the next generation of scientists to face contemporary and emerging issues in human and animal health.
Pharmacology and Toxicology
Pharmacology and Toxicology has eight research focus areas that span a number of disciplines, integrating knowledge from genomics to environmental toxicology to neuroscience. The department delivers pharmacology and toxicology to students in the Colleges of Veterinary Medicine, Human Medicine, and Osteopathic Medicine and supports an undergraduate minor in Pharmacology and Toxicology.
Microbiology, Genetics & Immunology
Microbiology, Genetics & Immunology is at the forefront of the new and exciting discoveries being made in microbial ecology, microbial pathogenesis, genetics, virology, genomics, immunology and cancer. The department serves three medical colleges (Veterinary Medicine, Osteopathic Medicine, and Human Medicine), the College of Natural Science, AgBioResearch, and other units on campus.
