The MSU Veterinary Medical Center Large Animal Clinic welcomes large and small pigs. Our specialty teams are prepared for emergency and maintenance care of your pig, including regular tusk and hoof trimming.
It is recommended that pigs be fasted the night prior to an appointment in case they will require sedation for diagnostic procedures. Pigs should be held off food for 12 hours prior to their scheduled appointment. Pigs that are not fasted may need to stay overnight or have their appointments rescheduled if diagnostic procedures are indicated. If you have any questions please call the large animal clinic at 517-353-9710.
