MAF Fellowships for Summer Research

The Morris Animal Foundation (MAF) sponsors a Veterinary Student Scholars Program and provides stipend support of up to $5,000 to students who have completed at least one year of veterinary school. Students can work on an animal health research project in the areas of large animal, small animal, wildlife and multiple species. For details please see the MAF website.

MSU students interested in studies of wildlife and exotic animals as well as companion animals, including horses, are encouraged to apply to the Morris Animal Foundation. MAF will accept only one application from each college of veterinary medicine. The deadline for all CVM-MSU students to complete and submit their proposals for consideration for submission for MAF funding is February 1, 2023. Proposals should be submitted to Dr. Sri Sreevatsan at sreevats@msu.edu. Please contact him as early as possible, if you intend to submit an application to MAF. Although not required, institutions are encouraged to match funds awarded by MAF. At MSU, we are committed to providing matching funds.

Please review information regarding the application materials at the Morris Animal Foundation Website.
