Dr. Gunasekaran earned his Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry degree from Madras Veterinary College in Chennai, India. He completed a small animal rotating internship and a cardiology residency at the MSU Veterinary Medical Center. He also completed Purdue University's Veterinary Practice Management Program and has served as Blue Pearl Ann Arbor's senior emergency clinician and as a cardiologist. He has a special interest in arrhythmia management and interventional procedures. Married to a veterinarian, father of five boys and some dogs with congenital heart diseases, and some crazy chickens.
