Debora Vogt earned her veterinary degree from the Vetsuisse Faculty at the University of Bern in Switzerland. She subsequently completed internships in equine medicine, foal medicine and critical care, and large animal internal medicine in Switzerland, Ireland, and Canada. She then completed residency training in Large Animal Internal Medicine at Purdue University in the United States and the University of Zurich in Switzerland.

In addition to her academic training, she has experience working in both equine and mixed-animal private practice. She is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (DACVIM-LAIM). Her clinical interests include emergency and critical care medicine, as well as clinical teaching.
