Dr. Joshua Borg grew up in the Sierra Nevada foothills in northern California. He attended California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo and earned a BS in Animal Science with honors where he developed an interest working with cattle. Afterwards, he earned his DVM with honors from Kansas State University. He started his career practicing both large and small animal medicine, but after several years chose to focus exclusively on small animal medicine and surgery. Dr. Borg has spent close to a decade as a general practitioner in the greater Puget Sound area. He continues to carry a passion for small medicine and surgery, client education, teaching, and mentoring veterinary students.
