Dr. Johnson is a 2015 graduate of the Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Following completion of an internship after graduation, she worked in emergency medicine prior to completing her residency in emergency and critical care. She then worked in private practice for several years prior to joining Michigan State. She is a diplomate of the College of Emergency and Critical Care, and loves teaching and the case variety that her chosen field provides. In particular, her clinical interests include pancreatitis, sepsis, and trauma. As a researcher, she is interested in acute pancreatitis, blood products, and transfusion medicine.
