Dr. Levy earned her DVM from the Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine, and also has a master's degree in immunobiology from Iowa State. She is a diplomate in the American College of Veterinary Emergency Medicine and Critical Care.

As director of specialty training programs, Dr. Levy provides crucial support to the College's residents and interns, and also continually works to enhance training programs.
