Karin graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Veterinary Technology in 2009. Her career started in small animal private practices first in Altoona, Pennsylvania in 2009 then Sarasota, Florida from 2009–2011. She then transitioned into specialty medicine as a neurology technician in Carrollton, Texas from 2011–2013. After moving home to Michigan in 2013, she continued as a neurology technician in Grand Rapids until shifting into the oncology specialty in 2015. Karin joined MSU June 2016 in the Medical Oncology department until December 2018 when she became a Radiation Oncology Technician. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and family, riding her horses, and being outdoors.
