Dr. Matthew Rice was raised in New Jersey and obtained his VMD degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 2023. He has pursued post-graduate training programs in New York City, Washington DC, and Michigan State University prior to accepting a surgical residency position. Dr. Rice is passionate about minimally invasive surgery, pain management, and client education. Outside of the hospital, Dr. Rice enjoys reading, hiking, and enjoying time near and on the water, whether it is a lake or the ocean.
