The 2024 Zoetis Foundation/AAVMC scholarships have been announced and among the recipients are seven MSU College of Veterinary Medicine students.
Congratulations to the MSU recipients:
“We are proud to see our students acknowledged for their hard work and dedication to their veterinary education,” says Dr. Bo Norby, associate dean for academic programs. “These scholarships represent both a recognition of their academic excellence and financial support as they continue that excellence in pursuit of their degrees.”
The Zoetis Foundation/AAVMC Veterinary Student Scholarship is designed to assist veterinary students with the expenses that accompany pursuing an education in the field—targeting the rising issue of student debt while simultaneously making the profession more accessible to those from diverse backgrounds. Recipient selection is made based on merit, financial need, and the ongoing needs of the wider veterinary profession. $7000 is awarded per recipient and is given to over 200 second and third-year students across the country.
