The Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine launched a very special tradition during the 2026 Commencement Ceremony: Alumni from the DVM and Veterinary Technology (Now Veterinary Nursing) Classes of 1976 returned to campus to lead the ceremony procession, celebrating their 50th-year reunion at the same time.

These Spartans welcomed the newest group of veterinary professionals with warmth and wisdom, and shared innumerable memories as they toured College facilities. Below are snapshots of the visit:
