The Michigan State University Veterinary Medical Center is expanding its total hip replacement (THR) program started more than 40 years ago.
The THR system from BioMedtrix/Movora is available in a wide range of sizes suitable for cats to giant dog breeds. The system includes cemented and cementless prostheses featuring lateral bolt and collared stem designed to optimize early osteointegration. It also features improved UHMW polyethylene liners devised to reduce wear and increase prosthesis longevity.
This addition builds on the Orthopedic Service's long history of innovation and excellence.
