The MSU Veterinary Medical Center will be closed tomorrow, Monday, September 21 due to systems disruptions resulting from a campus-wide power failure at Michigan State University. All appointments scheduled for Monday, September 21 will be rescheduled.

If you had an appointment scheduled for Monday, you do not need to contact us; we will reach out as soon as possible to reschedule your appointment.

Why will the Hospital be closed?

Though power has been restored to campus, the Hospital is still without access to important communications systems and infrastructure. Without these systems, we cannot reliably provide the level of care and service our clients expect.

We will begin rescheduling appointments as soon as our scheduling system is restored.

Are appointments later in the week cancelled?

At this time, we expect all systems to be restored by the end of the day Monday, and we do not currently expect appointments later in the week to be cancelled. If that changes, we will notify affected clients as soon as possible.
