To become an undergraduate student at MSU, you must meet MSU General Admissions criteria. MSU admission is based on multiple factors, including high school academic performance, ACT or SAT results, GPA, conduct, and diversity of experience. Once you are admitted to MSU, you may select preveterinary medicine as a non-degree granting designation.

Transfer Students

Admission of transfer students to MSU is based on consistent academic performance at current and previously attended institutions. All transfer students must meet MSU General Transfer Admission criteria. Students with 42 or more completed credits must select a degree-granting major; the preveterinary non-degree granting designation cannot be chosen.
