MSU Veterinary Match Day

Congratulations, Veterinary Professionals!

Monday, March 7, 2022, is the day when veterinary professionals who applied to internships and residencies found out where, and if, they were matched via the Veterinary Internship and Residency Matching Program (VIRMP). For the DVM Class of 2022 and the MSU Veterinary Medical Center's interns, specifically, this is a huge day and milestone.

All who applied to the VIRMP Match Program deserve to be celebrated, regardless of the outcome!

The College honored its incredible Spartan veterinary professionals with cookies from the MSU Bakers and Veterinary Match Day signs (pictured below). All College of Veterinary Medicine students, faculty, and staff were invited to join the celebration!

They shared their experiences with unique patients, rare conditions, and singular procedure conditions that are difficult to replicate in a hospital setting.
