Carol Buckler has worked at the MSU Veterinary Medical Center since 1995. She started as a caretaker, and today serves as a VA Level II/Aftercare Coordinator.

"I do truly love helping people and guiding them through such a tough time with the loss of a beloved pet. In between these clients, I also work with the Radiation Oncology team. It is a fast-paced and exciting service, always busy and so much to learn.

I feel very lucky to get to work with animals every day. As far as my own, I have one rescued pit bull named Tanner, and one dog named Spud, a corgi/beagle mix. Spud rules over Tanner, but Fergie, my kitty, rules over everyone, as it should be!

I have a love for gardening and arranging beautiful flowers, physical fitness and spending time with my son and daughter, but rescuing and advocating for animals will always be my one true passion!"
