Dr. Molly Frendo joined the MSU College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017 as a learning designer. She is co-leader of the DVM curriculum reinvention, where she oversees faculty development for designing competency-based veterinary education (CBVE) and teaching in a flipped classroom environment; provides recommendations for design, development, and production of a CBVE curriculum; collaborates with other instructional designers, faculty, and key stakeholders to develop curriculum; builds rapport with faculty to promote a culture of teaching and learning; supports project management strategies and communicates with key players on the status of relevant projects; evaluates the effectiveness of faculty development and integrates feedback to improve outcomes; and pilots curricular interventions and uses student feedback to offer support strategies for student success and engagement.
