Research Interests

My proposed research consists of the assessment of the equine distal phalanx (coffin bone) as influenced by bone conformation and age, p articularly, measurements of changes of bone mineral losses by evaluation of bone volumetric ash concentrations and radiographic bone aluminum equivalent diagnostic tools. I hope to develop a protocol which could effectively measure bone density at the horse population level.
