Research Interests

My current goal and interest is to study the regulatory role of G-Protein receptor kinases, in particular G-Protein receptor kinase 5 (GRK5), in the context of inflammatory diseases such as colitis, arthritis and sepsis. Also to understand the basic mechanisms of how G-proteins are regulated and how they are involved in disease pathogenesis, leading to targeting the mechanisms for therapeutic drug development in the prevention or treatment of these important human diseases.
