At any time between 11:45 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. you may meet with an MSU admissions representative to have questions answered about applying to MSU as a freshman or transfer undergraduate student.
Noon-1 p.m. Welcome/Keynote speakers
1:15-2:45 p.m. Concurrent sessions:
- High school presentation and student panel: This session will provide information about what high school students should be doing while in high school to prepare for an educational pathway for veterinary medicine. It will discuss the advantage of AP, IB courses and dual enrollment, as well as the non-academic activities that will be important for admission to undergraduate programs as well as admission to veterinary school.
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine presentation and student panel: This session is intended for students who plan to apply to veterinary school within the next two years. This panel will discuss the selection process specific to MSU’s College of Veterinary Medicine.
3-4:30 p.m. Veterinary Nursing presentation and student panel: This session will provide an overview of MSU’s Veterinary Nursing Program. Participants will learn about the Veterinary Nurse’s role in the veterinary healthcare team, as well as factors considered for admission for MSU’s Veterinary Nursing Program.
