Our first College Hour is this Friday, November 6 from 8:00 a.m.-9:00 a.m. in E100. All CVM faculty, staff, and students are invited to attend this community-driven event. Join us for fellowship, connecting, collaboration, and learning.
Our objectives are to share information about:

- CVM Budget
- CVM educational programs
- CVM research programs
- CVM outreach programs
- Accreditation process, items of interest, are we ready for the next accreditation?
- Curriculum
- DVM and veterinary technology student selection process
- Strategic planning
- Diversity/Inclusion issues and programs
- International programs
- Introduction of new faculty and staff
- Recognition of CVM award winners
- Collaborative programs with other MSU colleges
- Central campus issues of interest/importance
- Items of interest from other federal and/or state agencies (MDARD, DNR, MDCH, USDA, DHS, DOD, etc.)
- Items of interest from national associations/organizations (AVMA, AAVMC, NBVME, etc.)
- Items of interest to academic veterinary medicine (AVMC Council on Education, student debt/salaries, cost of education, employment opportunities, education and teaching models, wellness issues/programs, etc.)
