Congratulations to MSU College of Veterinary Medicine sophomore student Elisabeth Leahy, one of only five recipients for the 2015 Merck Animal Health/American Association of Equine Practitioners Foundation scholarship. The scholarships honor second and third year veterinary students dedicated to equine practice. Each scholarship is worth $5,000.

Teachers and mentors from Elisabeth’s past and present acknowledge her deservingness for this scholarship. Elisabeth notes Drs. Ann Rashmir, Judy Marteniuk, Sue Holcombe, and Vanessa Cook as her most influential mentors at the MSU Veterinary Medical Center’s Large Animal Department.
