The MSU College of Veterinary Medicine's Summer Research Program NIH grant has been renewed for five additional years.
The T35 grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) is called "Short-term biomedical research training program for veterinary students." The grant funds 14 DVM students, who will perform research projects during the 12-week program.
The College has been awarded this grant since 2004, and is one of 3 major grants that fund its summer research students; additional funding is provided by Boehringer-Ingelheim and an additional NIH grant).
