Presenters from the Michigan State College of Veterinary Medicine swept the canine awards at the American College of Veterinary Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation's inaugural stand-alone conference, the ACVSMR Symposium.

  • DVM/PhD Student Brooke Boger won best non-resident canine oral presentation for her talk on model usage to teach stifle goniometry. Boger is mentored by Dr. Jane Manfredi and Dr. Sarah Shull
  • Jessica Hynes, DVM Class of 2023, won best poster for her research into the impact of cranial cruciate ligament deficiency on field trial retrievers. Hynes is mentored by Dr. Jane Manfredi and Dr. Sarah Shull
  • Resident Dr. Charlotte Talbert won best canine talk for her work using acoustic myography to assess muscle function in skjoring dogs. Talbert is mentored by Dr. Julia Tomlinson and Dr. Jane Manfredi.
