Religion In The Workplace 3

On October 4, a group of students and faculty members came together to discuss religion in the veterinary profession. Dr. Robert Mckinley led the discussion, along with a panel of students and faculty from the CVM community. The event was coordinated by Veterinary Students as Once in Culture and Ethnicity (VOICE) and the Christian Veterinary Fellowship.

Dr. Mckinley began the evening with an introduction of his experiences with different religions and how many of the religions today came to be. After the introduction, the panel was opened to questions from the audience.

Ultimately, the conversation exceeded the event’s time limit and all in attendance were encouraged to continue to have informal conversations about spirituality in the workplace. VOICE was elated with the event and hopes to keep the momentum going at other events throughout the semester.
