This morning, 20 students in the equine sport medicine selective had fun perfecting their bandaging skills.

These 2nd year students practiced half leg and full leg bandages, as well as belly and face bandaging. There were some  seriously beautiful wraps.

The materials were donated to the College by the Kruuse Group, by way of Lars Lund. I met Dr. Lund in December at the American Association of Equine Practitioners meeting and he offered to donate materials for the bandage lab. The donation was very generous and gave the students some great experience with some wonderful materials.

I also want to thank Dr. Jane Manfredi for helping commandeer the lab and Sparty Cheer, who came over from the MSU horse farm to help us out.

The dedication of our veterinarians and MSU horses and the generosity of industry partners are just a few of the reasons MSU students are so well-trained when they graduate.
