Rebecca Linton is the Radiology Service Manager and supervisor of Diagnostic Imaging at MSU Veterinary Medical Center. Rebecca is double board certified with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in both general Radiology and Magnetic Resonance Imaging. Her career and training in Diagnostic Imaging originally began in the human medicine field until she joined MSU Veterinary Medical Center’s administrative team in January of 2020.

Rebecca works alongside all other services within both the large and small animal hospitals to coordinate and provide a wide range of imaging modalities for clinical diagnosis and treatment. She is a key coordinator for ongoing and prospective research studies within the college and involved in multiple translational studies across the university which require imaging at the CVM.

Rebecca manages a team of dynamic professionals, including radiologic technologists, sonographers, licensed veterinary technicians, veterinary assistants, and student employees. She also coordinates interpretation services via adjunct faculty, consultant radiologists, and teleradiology services for the department. She is responsible for large scale project management within Diagnostic Imaging and is the primary coordinator for the new 3.0T MRI at the College of Veterinary Medicine. Rebecca is also a software specialist in Diagnostic Imaging and is currently assisting with the hospital’s Electronic Medical Record and Teleradiology RFPs.

In her free time, Rebecca enjoys spending time with her two children, her dog and chickens, cooking, gardening, reading, and running long distance races, such as the Mackinac Island 8.2 road race. Rebecca hopes to one day fulfill her dream of becoming a Master Gardener via MSU Extension.
