February is an important month for students who pursue internships after graduating from MSU's College of Veterinary Medicine. This is when Match Day comes, and students at MSU and at veterinary colleges around the country learn where their internship will take them.

This year, 19 MSU students from the DVM Class of 2014 were matched for internships with institutions, organizations, and private practices in 16 states. These one-year programs provide post-DVM training for practice, clinical teaching, and residencies for specialty-board eligibility.

The College extends congratulations to these 19 students, and to the six additional Class of 2014 graduates who will be moving on to internships in five states.
