The College has broken ground on one of the most ambitious renovations in the veterinary hospital's history. In June, we began extensive renovations to our Critical Care Unit infrastructure.
The new Critical Care Unit will support and provide new possibilities to the talent, expertise, and technology the hospital possesses. The space has been designed for patient health, education, and research that benefits health outcomes.
Architectural plans for the Critical Care Unit incorporate the latest knowledge on how physical environments affect the healing and recovery process. Our renovations reflect some of these evidence-based design features.
The larger space will accommodate animals being treated by other specialty services from around the Veterinary Medical Center, providing students with a more diverse set of experiences.
