College Hosts 53rd Annual Vet-A-Visit | College of Veterinary Medicine at MSU

More than 1,000 attendees gathered to learn about animals, veterinarians, and the veterinary medical profession at the College's 53rd annual Vet-A-Visit.

This year at Vet-A-Visit

Vav1 — Turtles swam by visitors as they walked through the College.

Vav7 — Penguins waved to visitors on their way to the suture station.

Vav8 — The heartworm tunnel showed visitors how the disease is spread.

Vav10 — A future veterinarian learned what a dog's stomach looks like when it swallows a bone.

Vav11 — DVM students taught visitors about the importance of spaying a dog.

Vav12 — DVM students taught visitors about baby goats.

Vav14 — Visitors were taught about horses digestive systems.

Vav2 — A future veterinarian learned how to suture an owl.

Vav3 — Another future veterinarian learned how to suture a parrot.

Vav4 — Visitors learned about all the different breeds of animals that veterinarians can take care of.
