Research at the College is wide-ranging and interdisciplinary, and includes studies that address animal, human, and environmental science and health issues. Current trends in College research show both collaborative and independent funding applications, and funding from the National Institutes of Health has increased 10 percent.
One of the easiest ways of assessing the impact of our College’s work is to look at our stakeholders. We receive research funds from the National Institutes of Health, the National Science Foundation, and many other top agencies and organizations that work to preserve and protect human, animal, and environmental health. As we work to further the reach of our research, especially with more interdisciplinary partners, we expect this trend to continue,” says Dr. Srinand Sreevatsan, associate dean for Research and Graduate Studies and professor for the College.
