Large animal practitioners: Mark your calendars for a day of continuing education at the Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Participants will earn five hours of CE credits. Registration is $200.

Guest presenter: Dr. John Peroni, DVM, MS, DACVS is the Dr. Steeve Giguere Memorial Professor in Large Animal Medicine at the University of Georgia. Dr. Peroni is a 1994 graduate of the University of Parma and was a Large Animal Surgery resident at Michigan State University from 1996-1999. He is an equine surgeon with expertise in regenerative medicine.

There is also a Large Animal Wet Lab being offered on the days before and after this day of CE. The wet lab is called "Thoracic and Abdominal Ultrasonography," and topics include "FLASH: The 10-minute colic ultrasound" and "Is that fluid in the chest?" Breakfast/dinner is included.
