In 2018, when the College updated its curriculum, One Health was explicitly included as a subject of study. One Health classes were developed to round out the students’ learning. Now it’s getting an update that is as collaborative and multi-disciplinary as One Health itself.
September 15-October 15 is National Hispanic Heritage Month. Among the festivities at the College was a speaker event on the impact of Latinx Americans on agriculture and veterinary medicine. Separately, MSU LVMA board members discussed Latinx identity in veterinary medicine.
A delegation of MSU veterinary students attended the Purdue University Medicine of Aquatics, Amphibians & Reptiles (MOAAR) 4th biennial symposium in West Lafayette, IN, in which the PDI Faculty Dr. Bartolomeo Gorgoglione gave a keynote talk and led the Aquatic tracks.
